Filling in your profile:We are aware that this amazing cute little hover profiles can look a little complicated, but don't worry, they are really quite simple, and here is how to do that, along with a few basic rules, of course! - First things first, the images MUST be filled out before you create your characters application. We understand that the 'plotter' and 'application' spaces can't be filled out until after, but the photos must. And they must resemble your character as well.
- Photo Sizes: The two images (the one in the hover and the main one) can both be edited by going to Edit Profile -> then click the 'personal' tab. The sizes are listed right in there, so please make sure they are correct! The larger outside one is 220x350, while the smaller one in the mini profile is 220x120. Your proboards avatar is simply 150x150 and is also required.
- The other tabs are quite simple and resemble your alias and your characters information. If you have any other questions, just ask! Trust me, it's so much easier than it sounds!
Joining & Creating Your Character:
- When joining, please join with your characters name, and do not change it at any time once that character has been created.
- You do not have to use the joining template that is filled out for you, but it is highly recommended.
- You must wait for a staff member to accept that character before you can post IC, but feel free to post in the OOC boards!
- We are a one character per account role-play website. This means that all of your characters must have their own accounts.
- All characters must be domesticated dogs. We will allow dog-wolf hybrids, but if we get too many, we will ban them.
Respect & Ratings:- I will say this once & only once; Respect is everything when it comes to role-play websites. We will not take bullying, judging, or disrespecting in anyone in any way lightly, so please just show us the same respect and kindness we show all of you. This is supposed to be fun and a way to pass the time, so please, just keep it that way.
- Proboards websites are always to be PG-13, that means no graphic posts of any kind. This goes for extreme fighting, sexual content, ect. Keep fights not so gruesome and use the fade to black method, it is that simple.
- We will allow cursing to some extent, but keep it to the bare minimum.
Images & Templates:- Copyright theft is a big deal nowadays and we like most others do not take the matter lightly. If we find you are copyrighting anything from anybody, we will take it to drastic measures and you may be banned from the website.
- All images must come from Flickr or Devientart. If from DA you must follow the rules of the person you took the image from. Flickr they must be listed under the Creative Commons License. If you need help finding a good photo, please PM a staff member.
- If you use someone else's template to post on, please make sure the credit is on, and that you have their permission.
- All avatars must be a photograph of a canine. No drawings or animes, please. To see the sizes again, please go back to the 'joining' rules.
Breeding & Pups:
- In order to even think about mating, you must have at least 3 threads with your potential mate. One meeting and becoming friends, one actually deciding a relationship, and the third discussing having pups.
- No graphic mating or birthing, both must fade to black.
- When you decide upon pups, both mother and father must fill out a form in the 'reproduce thread' and wait for a staff member to respond.'
- Staff will choose how many pups, colors, and genders unless you have bought these from the store.
- Pups will need their own bios filled out and accepted before they can be role-played. This will be done with their adopters.
- Pups will be put up for adoption after they have been in the role-play for 2 seasons. They will then have 4 more seasons to be adopted or they will have to die off.
